Kelli
and David Parrott: Moving our children to Southwood Learning
Center has been one of the wisest decisions we have made as parents.
What we have found to be unique at Southwood has been their remarkable
balance. They balance nurturing care and play with academic structure and
expectations. Our children have flourished. The rate at which they have
grown in both their academic skills and their developmental skills has
amazed us. Additionally, we have found Nazneen, Linda, and the teachers
to be very responsive and always there. For our sons, the stability and
consistency of knowing their same teachers would be there every morning
has been wonderful. The consistency, the care, and the responsiveness have
made us feel that they have teamed with us as parents to nurture and develop
our children and that has been invaluable.
Kirsten Pullen and Josh Heuman: We chose Southwood Learning Center for our daughter because we wanted her to learn, play, and grow. Southwood Learning Center isn't just a babysitting service- the teachers are committed to developing art, language, and social skills. Ivy has become a better friend, a better artist, and a better talker since she's been enrolled. We really like the diversity of the school (both teachers and students), the Montessori focus, and the lack of religious instruction. She's thriving in this environment, and we can't wait to see what she'll learn and do next!
Carrie
and Shane McGary: We can’t say enough good
things about Southwood Learning Center. Our son has received
an excellent preparation for kindergarten and a love for learning
that he’ll take with him for the rest of his life. Southwood
Learning Center is on our personal “Best of the Brazos
Valley” list.
Priya and
Arul Jayaraman:
We love the family-friendly atmosphere and the care provided
to the children. The teachers at SWLC have always been receptive
to our concerns, provide us lot of information on our child’s
daily activities, and answer all our questions. The combination
of Montessori and group activities is a big plus.
